Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born the 16th of April, 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. Her father is an Argentine who is of Scottish and English descendance. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. They resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy says that moving into London was difficult and she did not study English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was required to switch schools. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in plays. When she reached the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to pursue a full-time acting profession. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to be an actor and her goals were realized when she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
